Feature questions, straight answers

Answered by the GetCafePOS team. Can’t find yours? Ask us.

What features does a coffee shop POS need?

At minimum: fast ordering on a touchscreen, sizes and modifiers with upcharges, tips, a way to send drinks to the bar, loyalty, and reports you can read at close. Today most cafes also want order-ahead from their own menu. GetCafePOS includes all of those in its entry plan.

Are all features included in the free trial?

Yes. The 30-day trial unlocks the full product so you can test bar screens, recipes and multi-location tools before choosing a plan.

Can I add features later?

Yes. Plans are per location and you can move up or down at the end of any billing period. Your menu, customers and history stay as they are.

Does GetCafePOS work for a cafe that also sells food?

Yes. Food items route to the kitchen printer or screen while drinks go to the bar, and recipes can track ingredients for both.

Is there a mobile app?

The register runs in the browser on phones and tablets, so staff can take orders on a phone during a rush. Owners can check reports from any device.

Which payment methods can I accept?

Cash, cards through your processor, and custom payment types you name — for example Apple Pay through your terminal, JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank transfer — so every payment is recorded against the sale.

Can it handle a roastery that sells beans wholesale?

Yes, on Roastery: wholesale customers with their own price group, quotations, invoices and purchase orders, alongside your retail counter.

Does it integrate with delivery apps?

Delivery apps can run alongside GetCafePOS; deeper integrations are available through the API on Roastery and on request. Ask about your specific app on a demo.
