Yes, with preparation: tablets run on battery, a small UPS keeps the router and printer alive, and a 4G device covers internet outages. The register needs a connection to save sales, so the backup line matters.
Add them as payment methods in the POS. Staff select the method at checkout; the closing report shows totals per method so you can reconcile with your wallet statements.
Prices displayed to consumers are expected to include VAT. The standard rate is 5%. Show VAT-inclusive prices on your menu and the VAT amount on receipts.
Registration is mandatory above the turnover threshold set by the Federal Tax Authority and voluntary above a lower threshold. Check the current figures on the FTA website and with your accountant.
