Connect a receipt or bar ticket printer
Add a network or USB thermal printer, assign it to a location, and route drink and food categories.

Connect the printer to your Wi-Fi/Ethernet (or USB to the register device) and print its self-test page.
Note its IP address from the self-test.
In Settings → Printers, add the printer with that address.
Assign it to the location's receipt or kitchen/bar printing.
Print a test order and check modifiers print in the right order.
Most 80 mm thermal printers work. See the hardware guide for categories.
Routing
Send Espresso, Tea and Brewed categories to the bar printer, and Bakery or Food to the kitchen. A cash drawer plugged into the receipt printer opens on cash sales.
